Technical information

When you visit our website, technical information may be processed by the website and its hosting or security systems. This may include your IP address, browser or device information, pages requested and the date and time of access. We use this information as needed to deliver, maintain and protect the website.

3. How and why we use personal data

We use personal data to:

  • respond to quote requests, questions and other business enquiries;
  • communicate with you about the products or services you have asked about;
  • manage an ongoing business relationship;
  • operate, maintain and protect our website;
  • meet legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims; and
  • send updates if you have signed up to receive them or if applicable law otherwise permits us to do so.

Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, we process personal data on the following legal bases, as relevant to the purpose:

  • Steps taken at your request before entering a contract, such as preparing a response to a quote enquiry;
  • Performance of a contract where processing is needed to provide an agreed service;
  • Legitimate interests, such as responding to business communications, maintaining our business relationships and protecting our website, where those interests are not overridden by your rights;
  • Legal obligations that require us to keep or disclose certain information; and
  • Consent, where we ask for it, including where required for optional cookies or updates.

If a form marks a field as required, we need that information to handle your request. If you do not provide it, we may be unable to respond fully or prepare the information you requested.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website may use cookies or similar technologies. Some may be needed for the website to function and remain secure. Optional cookies may be used for purposes such as understanding website traffic.

Where applicable law requires consent, we will ask for it before using non-essential cookies. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how the website works.

5. When we share personal data

We may share relevant personal data with:

  • service providers that support website hosting, technical maintenance, communications or security;
  • a supplier, distribution partner or logistics provider, if their input is needed to respond to your enquiry or provide a service you request; and
  • public authorities, courts or professional advisers where disclosure is required or permitted by law.

We limit any sharing to what is relevant for the applicable purpose.

6. How long we keep personal data

We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, to manage a business relationship, to meet applicable record-keeping obligations, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

The appropriate period depends on the type of information and the reason it was collected. When it is no longer needed, we will delete it or otherwise handle it in accordance with applicable law.

7. How we protect personal data

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. No method of transmitting or storing information can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. International transfers

If personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we will use a transfer mechanism permitted by applicable data-protection law. You may contact us for information about the safeguards used for a particular transfer.

Depending on the law that applies, you may have the right to:

  • request access to your personal data;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • request deletion of your data;
  • request that we restrict certain processing;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • receive certain data in a portable format, where applicable; and
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

You can also unsubscribe from email updates using the link in the message. This does not affect communications needed to respond to an enquiry or manage an existing business relationship.
